Very nice ride. I have been eyeballin those recently. Once the Cobra is fine tuned it will be up for sale. Looking for some sort of roadster at this point. Mega hp doesn't do crap in the twisties and I don't drag.

Reminds me of the one I sold to buy my 996TT!

Couple of things I didn't like about the car...

Maintenance was about the same, or a little more than maintaining my 996TT.

The rear subframe "cracking" issue was a concern.

I couldn't track the car with the "pop up" bars. Every club I run with required that I instal a roll bar, which would have required permanent mods to the interior that I simply wasn't going to do to this car. It was to damned clean to start cutting up.

The 2001-2002 model makes 315HP from the factory, and they are SO MUCH fun... I enjoyed showing a few C5 Vettes (not Zo6s) the tail lights, and I enjoyed the convertible top for the brief period I owned the car.

Dealership in Canada bought it!

Mike

beautiful, though cant compete with your 996TT. that is a beauty.

i wish i had the s54 engine, only have the s52. according to what i read online the longevity on the s52 wasnt there. would have issues around 100k.

still i love the car, the idea was to buy it and sell it, but i fell in love especially when the weather is right.
