Wanted to round up a few folks ...

This time for the heading to the Baltimore GP on Friday morning...

here is what I got in my inbox today from Zone 2 PCA (below)...figure maybe get a few cars together potentially and head into the corral early Fri morning, from what I understand all the marque corral spots are togther in the same area reserved by marque and next to the ALMS paddock...

the Zone2.PCA.org website has a lot of good information including schedules, directions, and track maps if anyone wants to take a look.

The Baltimore Grand Prix Organization has provided the following schedules:

Corral Parking

Corral Parking Pass holders may park their cars in the Car Corral Paddock Thursday evening from

6 PM to 8 PM.

Then the these times will apply:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Car Corral entrance 6 AM to 8 AM and noon to1 PM

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Car Corral exit – 6 PM (or when track goes cold) to 11 PM

The Car Corral will be locked at 11 PM

Cars will be permitted to remain in the paddock over night if they have the necessary

credential and sticker on their car to be allowed in the paddock the following day.

Car Corral Parade Laps

Car Corral Parade laps will be first thing Saturday morning 7 AM

Club member interested in participating should be in the lot as early as possible, lined up and ready to

roll at 7am. The Car Corral Paddock will open at 5 AM

Additional event information includeing the PORSCHE PLATZ SCHEDULE,TRACK MAP, CAR CORRAL

TRAFFIC PLAN, RACE SCHEDULE, TICKETS and changes and updated to above schedule will be

Good idea to get caravans set up. I can't get up there first thing Friday due to work. I can make the 12-1 corral entry window if anyone else has to work in the morning and wants to drive up mid day.

^^^ Scott I just talked to Tom Z tonight and he is working on figuring out some details with Porsche and the arrangement for the PCA corral. The location is at the MPACT lot like you said...BUT i dunno that they will let us go down Russell St. and make a left on hanover and a right into the entrance...like we did last time for MPACT...

I think they route all corral traffic flow in one direction to the parking areas thru a guard shack...

Brian are you going to have a pick up shuttle to/from scores to the gp? if so where is the pickup point? Was thinking if we get a group together maybe either hit up some bars and what not downtown and also scores while we're at it...

right now so many details about the GP still remain unanswered, I'm dong my best to find out more info...

my cell is (202) 641 - 8211 ...give me a shout or text sometime and maybe we can coordinate something...

Are you going to be in the corral as well?

OK Sunir and I just spoke and here's the plan on the caravan:

When:
Friday September 2, between 5:45 and 6:00am

Where:
Victoria Gastro Pub
8201 Snowden River Pkwy
Columbia, MD 21045

This location is just off of Route 100 exit 3.

We'll go from there to the car corral area where we expect we'll be funneled to our respective parking areas.

Thanks Sunir for the info. Im suppose to get my credentials in the mail today. Im meeting another friend early in the morning (friday) to cruise there so 2 cars. Does anyone know getting there at 7am would be the same as getting there at 5am as far as the corral parking goes?

If anyone wants to join us, we will be meeting somewhere near Key Bridge. We will take GW Parkway and then 95 all the way to Baltimore.

I don't want to wake up early so Im still considering to use 12-1noon time slots..

I'm heading down to BMore for a 7am arrival time Friday from annapolis if anyone wants to meet up. I am more than happy to meet up near the Key bridge....or around the corner at the gas station (It's green...LOL, can't remember if it's a BP or some other but you can't miss it) and head in from there

^^^ DEMON if you can meet us over off RT100 we'll be leaving that spot around 6am....

Memo...sounds good buddy...we'll see you in the corral then, the Porsche corral is right next to the Ferrari/Lambo corral, in fact all the corrals are together next to the ALMS paddock so I'm sure we'll run into each other at the track

I can't miss your car. I decided to skip Friday so I will be leaving very early Saturday morning. I will get there 5:30-6am. I think that should be good enough for the parade lap. I hope so

I think that gas station became a mini sunoco we were going to meet at the hotel right by key bridge (next to gw pkwy) but we moved the schedule. They are now leaving later (noon-1pm entrance)

I am leaving Saturday very very early in the morning instead of friday morning.

I won't be down there that early. Meeting some other guys around 630 and then heading out today. I'll also be in line for the parade run and in Bmore at 4:45!! stinkin' early. I'll catch up with you guys either day...were all parked in the same general area. This is going to be an epic weekend!
