What are typical tune-only gains for your car?

 

The vette is far from stock, so im not really sure, most guys see 15-30 hp with intake long tubes , and exhaust I believe....

 

I'd like to see 450whp and 480ftlbs ish out of my car with the small cam in it

Drop a bigger cam (TSP's MS3) in that 427 so you can make some real power!

 

I've been looking at the englandgreen hellraiser cam... I want to make sure the car is healthy and doesn't have any other issues first though , hence the tuning appointment next week

Bro ur car was spewing black smoke and sutt ... Running super rich I'm glad ur getting her tuned you'll be much happier so will the car as for mods why not go lingenfelter or Calloway ?? Do that 427 up right w a blower!!!

 

I'd love to be able to afford a blower.... Not in the cards right now though, as the car needs other things at the moment.

Looks like the tube fell through as well, not enough people could commit (I was the only one) in order for the tuner to come in from out of town. Still might happen, but I doubt it will.
Probably better for my holiday budget anyway lol. I'm going to make a few changes this weekend and see if that makes a difference in the tune at all, I need to move the maf sensor away from the throttle body, I may just do that at maple lawn tomorrow, we'll see

 

^^^ Ken bro sorry to hear that, hope the tuner still comes thru for you...that car needs it bad. bring 'er out to Maple lawn and we can all have a look with ya n get 'er tidy up for the cruise and you'll see if the changes worked out to your benefit, hopefully they will buddy

 

We'll see! I really need to get the tranny fluid changed this weekend as well, lots of little maintenance things to do this winter! The maf placement change should be easy, just a couple band clamps to loosen and re-attach

 

Looks like they have enough cars and the tune is on.

Why not have the ls6 tuned by F-Body Central or PSi; are they not competent tuners for this area, I take it your running HP Tuners?
