Sully Plantation Antique Car Show, 06/17/12

We went to the Father's Day car show at Sully Plantation today. A lot of nice cars, and saw some friends from Katie's and Kohl's.

Lowcash is on a distinguished road
It's was great seeing that Stanley Steamer drive through the show.

Did you see them assemble and move the Model A in 15 minutes?

So THAT'S what they were doing! we saw a bunch of guys wrenching - just didn't hear the narration.

Thanks,

That 'assemble & drive off' is SO COOL! On Top Gear, they had a contest putting together a Lotus Seven. It took them 8 hours, mostly because Jeremy screwed up everything he touched!

Do you know if they are doing it again this year? Is it all restored cars or do they allow customs?

It used to be that customs were invite only. Not sure the rules now.

Driving the Stanley Steamer was a blast! I swapped rides with the owner a few years back.

do you have a link to the event? All I can find are 3rd party information?

Also, do you guys do any weekly or monthly meetups in that area? My in-law's are in Ashburn and I head up a few times year, would love to meet up.
