2014 Fair Lakes, VA C & C (Kohl's) Thread

When I left the house this morning, the temperature was 40 degrees, which was 23 degrees warmer than yesterday. Because the forecast is for rain this afternoon, followed by possibly heavy snow tonight and tomorrow, lots of people decided they needed to come out.
As if we needed a reminder of what a terrible winter this has his been thus far, here's a picture of the lingering snow next to the parking garage at Fair Lakes.

At this point, after all the snow and cold, a clear day - even a pretty cold one - is a reason to celebrate. Today's turnout was a good one.
What is unique about this event is that it allows people to group similar cars, which, I think, can make for interesting pictures. Lots of variety today, as always.

The prospect of still MORE snow this afternoon/evening/tomorrow brought out a lot of people.
That's a snow pile, well over 10' tall, next to the multi-story parking lot, adjacent to the Cars & Coffee lot.

A cold, bitter, windy day, but at least no rain/sleet/snow. (That's what passes for 'Cars & Coffee' weather this winter in the Northern Virginia area.) A huge turnout of new Camaros, and a good showing of several other groups.

Fair Lakes, 03/23/14 - Part 3
I nominate two people for bravery today. Bob Williams drove his Lister Jaguar, and the owner of the '32 Ford Roadster also drove in this miserable weather in their open cars.

A cool, clear morning brought out a real crowd. The third picture is piles of snow next to our parking lot, left over from snowstorms 3 or more weeks ago. Some of these piles are still well over 3 feet tall.
