how are mini's in snow and Ice?

I am thinking of getting one for a daily driver in the mountains of Colorado. I am looking for gas milage and a little fun to drive. I also have a truck for really bad days and hopefully trading in the Carrera for a gt3 for track days.
I am interested in the clubman, are they in the states yet? Thanks

I live in Sweden and use it as a daily driver. That ought to answer your question
Get good winter tires (Iv'e got Nokian Hakkapelitta V) and the car's just as good a winter car as any fwd if not better.
A good car config is even more noticeable in the winter and the Mini is set up pretty good.

With the right tires they are wonderful in the snow. Call me if I can help.
