Sprint Booster
Sprint Booster
Has anyone tried this product? It seems like a great thing, but at the same time i'm a bit hesitant to spend the money on it... when it doesn't actually "make" more power...

Hmm, well that pushes me away - Glad i didn't purchase it
Here's a thread with more thoughts on this:

Had to break the link for forum rules. Replace the HH with tt and you'll get there.....
I have it on my wife's mini. she used to complain she has to really stomp on the gas to go, but now its much easier it is not giving you more power just more throttle response. you do have a 30 day trial. try it, don't like it send it back.
Curious have you tried one, it is not a scam, all electronic accelerators have lag time to some degree when the pedal is pressed, this eliminates its completely, I believe they even ran an earlier advertisement 30 money back if not satisfied. I installed one on my CTT, incredible difference. It takes some getting use to but you will end up pressing the pedal lighter since the car will start to take off quicker. It does not add hp only eliminates delay from pedal switch to throttle.

I just installed one in my 997 and the difference is real. I'm usually skeptical about unconventional mods, but my local shop said if I didn't like it just give it back, but after driving around with it, it's staying on my car.
Any more thoughts on the sprint booster? I just installed. 17% pulley and an air intake on my wife's 2005 Cooper S with auto transmission. Strongly thinking about the sprint booster hoping it will add some pep to daily driving
