Same old issue

Hi Guys,
New to this. just got myself a 2012 Porsche Cayenne here in Hong kong, and the poxy brakes are squealing like a pig at low speeds. just been advised to clean them with water. Well i did as i was told and 1 day later squealing like a pig again. been reading some of the replies, i also read someone had replaced his standard pads with Bosch pads and the squealing gone forever.
anyone else tried these pads

Welcome to 6Speed, Rob. Sometimes a high pressured pressure washer will help with debris in the pads, but sometimes brands of pads are just noisier than others. Textar is a good pad as well. Otherwise, for a better response, try posting in the Cayenne section of this forum with your question. Post some pictures for us too when you can.

Just noticed that there is some light rust/corrosion on 2 of the discs. it's not heavy corrosion, but cannot be removed by cleaning. Have you encountered this before, and could this be the cause of the squealing of the brakes. The noise is only at between 5km-0km/hr ?

Squealing happens because of vibration and most of the time it's caused by the vibration between the pad and the caliper. Take the car out and do some hard driving and braking. Also, another idea, is go in reverse quickly and hard brake as well. You can also put anti-squeal between the pad and the pistons on the caliper to possibly help as well.
