sorry admins for the link, but this is pretty important information. I really don't care as I haven't ever launched mine... but let the storms

At least they admit that in the US market only 1% have failed. They are right though, this whole transmission failure has been blow way out of line. People just seem to want to see this car fail it seems.
I wish I had the money to buy a GTR right now, I think its a great buy.

my wife did better, the first time she ever hit the throttle wide open in a straightline (proof on another thread here).
gt-r's trap 11.6-9 from the factory.
average is 3.7-3.8 0-60 just hitting the throttle from idle.
i'm getting my car back tomorrow, and we'll see if there is a noticeable improvement.
what measurement device did you use? One tenth of a second is well within the margin to be expected time after time.

Who cares, the GT-R is fast!.
My overpriced Toyota can run low 12.3's with two sets of golf clubs in the trunk

for the 1/4? countless slips.
for the 0-60? g-tech pro/integrated stop watch inside the car on the steering wheel.
and i said average. mine did 3.8 0-60, and 11.9 factory, because i have the heavy bridgestones.
the point? i'm not some hotshot magazine driver. and whoever did this driving should quietly disappear into the night. because my wife did a better job, and she has zero experience whatsoever.

nice...i did a run with two large bags of dogfood in the trunk, by accident of course.
and if you're referring to your is-f as an overpriced toyota, i would disagree with you. it is quite a nice luxury sports car.
Gtech pro and a stop watch? Those can both be tenths off at 60, I bought one 7 years ago and ran it in a few cars and it was so widely inconsistent vs. the performance box / driftbox I upgraded to.

Wow, this car just hit a new time, possibly a record for a stock car with the new reprogram.
