Leh Keen meets Godzilla @ VIR
Just figured I would share this video with you guys. Leh and I went up to a private track day at VIR last week to hang out with some friends and customers.
While we were there one of our customers was kind enough to let Leh take his GT-R out on track for some laps.
On Leh's 4th hotlap ever in the car he was able to crack off this 2:02.8 which is screaming on street tires.
The car was pretty much stock with stock Dunlop P010 ALL SEASON tires on it!

Neither would I, but it isn't that much of an improvement for a track car.
It would move a 11.6 car to about an 11.0 (because of the canned tune) in the 1/4. Basically, for HP alone, I think the only three places it would help is after the esses, after the Oak Tree, and on the front stretch.
And I think it would only make a few secs difference. His corner speeds are outrageous, and being on the weakest tire (besides the factory winter tires), I think is a testament to his ability (as well as the car's).

I'm sorry for the lack of details on the upgrades.
Thats why I said pretty much stock, not stock. When it comes to tracking a GT-R power makes alot less difference then you would think when the car is well driven. When I said pretty much I meant without coilovers or even a protune.
