I just got a GT2 wing from Eugene(THANKS!) that I am going to get painted tomorrow...but I don't really trust the body shop I'm taking it to do the install...after I get it painted does anyone recommend a shop where I can get it installed at? It's just an add on wing, Sharkwerks said they can't do it because its not OEM or techart and its fiberglass and may need modifications. The brand is Mashaw, thanks guys!

 

If you can come up here tomorrow, I can do it. It is like a 15 min job. I'll be going out of town and will be back on 7/8.

The place I used did charge quite a bit. Depending the quality you want, you may want to try some asian body shop in S.J.

 

I believe RiA just did a front end and wing conversion and used the moble paint guy Luis and his sister for his work. A big plus is they come to you.

 

Hey Bankai, sorry I think Dan thought you were talking about a GT2 decklid/wing replica hence we recommended the body shop heh If it's just a wing blade itself and not a decklid etc... that's pretty easy. We just don't like messing with things that fit badly etc... hence we stick to factory and/or TechArt. A blade by itself is easy/fine

As far as paint goes... Ugh it seems to be some big problem to find a good place in the bay area unfortunately.

 

Bankai, L&M Mobile can paint it for you, and I have the tool to do the swap. I'm in the south bay and can help you make the swap - it's easy...

lol, Greece it is. The city is busier than I thought. People are very friendly. Food is great... Greek salad, stuff tomato, Mousaka (much better than those I had in Arizona). I finally understand the expression... "it's all greek to me". You just cannot makeup anything from their words.

I'm sure you are right about the differences; the Metro here is pretty high-tech... almost got picked pocket today on the Metro. Although I knew they (5 as a team) were up to something. I let them un-zipped my bag and told them that I only had a pair of reading glasses in there. I told the guy... it's okay, no big deal... and they left at the next stop. However, it did scared my younger daughter a little because she got blocked off from me. Anyway, I'll be here for another day and heading to Santorini. Hope it is as beautiful as I think.
