That's a little to far to drive a track car in Jan.

Dito (Bluemilk) would probably like attendees to know that yes you can view the "free" photos taken of your car in his trailer but if you want a cd of your images or any prints you will be required to pay (the amount is very reasonable)

Actually, we paid for his service. So all the photos are in full size and no "gotbluemilk" watermark in the middle of the photos. Ready to download and print out!

Can you tell me more about the CityTech Track Days? How do they compare with some of the other track days in how they run their events, run groups, safety focus, etc? You can PM me if you prefer.

Sure. This is our 8th Track Event, compared to other organization. We are running 3 groups only to provide as much track time as possible to all the drivers. All the drivers are usually getting at least seven 20mins sessions thu out the day. We are basically all the track enthusiasts running the events.

As far as safety concerns, they are just the same as the other HPDE events. Thunderhill staffs are enforcing all the safety, passing and race track monitoring, not any random persons who doesnt know about the track. All tow trucks, emergency response units are also standing by. As of right now, we have zero safety issue occurred during our last 8 events.

Thanks -- That sounds great! How many cars do you typically have for each run group? I'm hoping the schedule works out for me to join the party.

We are limiting 25 cars each run group. However, there always a few walk ins last minute. So about 30 cars MAX

Wow -- it looks like it was a fun event on Jan. 22. I've done one track event in the rain a long time ago and I do have to admit that it was a lot of fun (nerve racking and exciting too).

There are some great pictures -- nothing emphasizes the sense of speed than a little water eh? I especially like this one (didn't realize you were doing a drift competition too ):
