It all comes down to cars on a lot (Cayennes by the zillions) or an allocated car. Yes if I was buying a car that everyone has lots of I would be concerned. If I was getting a 997 Turbo S Cabriolet that they might get 1 or 2 of I wouldn't care. I never end up wanting anything that a lot of people have though. Sucks for me.

My point exactly. Its all supply and demand. Truthfully, all the production porsches are mass produced, with the exception of the GT3/RS or GT2.
