Any recommendations on a Mazda or Honda dealer?
Like the title says, I am looking to get a daily driver to keep the miles of the P-car and retire it from dd duties. I have pretty much finalized my decision to two vehicles...either a mazda 3s touring 5-door or a Honda CR-V. Anyone have any recommendations on a dealer or more specifically know someone that sells either one of them. My wheels are finally here btw!
Thanks Bruce. I am leaning towards the mazda 3...know anyone that can help me with that?
I've had bad experiences at the downtown Honda dealer and the Honda dealer close to Wal-mart in the Renton area. Few months ago I was looking for a Honda CR-V, but I gave up.
At the Renton stealership, I dealt with some guy who could barely speak English. When we started to negotiate price I got the "Let me talk to my boss" treatment. I felt like I was dealing with William Macy in the movie Fargo. I was expecting him to sell me some clear coat wax. Finally, the "manager" came out and it went downhill from there.
Similar experience downtown, except I was dealing with a kid who looked like he was 16 years old.
BTW, the new CR-V looks very nice IMHO...

I went and talked to the Honda dealership down here in Oympia and will never go back there again. They never seem interested in making a deal and wanting a customer. I also stopped here back in Sept when Jess was looking for a Civic...last time and this time around all they had to say was "let us know what price you get up north then we can match it and you can save a few hundred bucks on sales tax." Will never go back there again when looking to get a vehicle. I did stop by Kirkland Honda and they are nice. Now I think I am set on the Mazda 3. I recently contacted Doug's Lynnwood Mazda and also the one in Kirkland. I think either of those two seem like they can better the deal here in Olympia. Thanks for all the help.
Sorry I don't know anyone at Mazda dealer off the top of my head. THey are good cars though. The 3 is nice. If you want some great service talk to my boy Ric. But when people come in the dealership willing to only pay invoice for a car, and there isn't a ton of profit......you get what you pay for in terms of salesman and service
I can only recommend NOT going to Pinnacle Mazda in Renton. When I went in to test drive an RX-8 a couple of years ago, I knew more about the car than the salesman did.
Then, during the test drive, the salesman wouldn't shut up about how great his Hyundai was - no joke!
