I haven't been snowboarding since I was 19... I miss it, just haven't had the time to go...

 

i am excited for snow! which reminds me to book a stay at vail.

 

I usually do Whistler twice a year, but don't have the time for the local mountains. Wish I did.

 

I used to take every Monday off during the season to get up. But in the last couple of years, there hasn't been much interest.

However, I'm always down for Whistler, it's so much fun up there! I have a friend who owns a house across the street from the Village, it's close, big place & lots of fun. There is something about being outside when it's 25deg sitting in a hot tub, with drinks!

i never know. they open sometimes thanksgiving but it all depends on the rains this time of year. i hope sooner than later but seeing any snow on the ground has got me going.......

 

I've never been skiing before. Am I missing out?

 

yes. i would personally rank skiing above taking a car to the track for a day.

Snow? No thanks! I rather go scuba diving and fishing in Hawaii...

 

My skiing days are over. I screwed up my back last February in Colorado. On my doctors advice I'm not going to ski anymore, and just to make sure I don't change my mind, I've given away all my ski equipment.

 

Tore my ACL, and partially tore my MCL a while back, so I am out for the season.

That said, if anyone needs to borrow boards and bindings, I have a few that will be sitting around.
