6 Speeds, but 2 wheels. Track Days?

So I may be headed to Seattle soon, permenantly. I've been offered a sweet job that is hard to resist.

That aside... I also have a Honda RC-51 which is street legal but that I've tailored for the track(suspension, weight reduction, gearing, power, etc). I've owned it since it's birth and it's coming with! It's my love(well so is my car)

So are there other track-addicts around here as well? What track are around the Seattle area? I plead ignorance.

Pipe up!

there is PIR (pacific international raceway). It's located in kent. If you contact them, they should be able to assist you in finding information about the track. Proformance offers courses with instructors, etc. i think you can peek on the website to see a calendar of events.

PIR offers different types of events for bikes and cars including driver's education, etc. we take our R6 out and we're just waiting for the spring time to roll around for more track days.

there are several of us that also go to autox events. the location for pca is currently in port orchard.

you can also check with eastside motorsports in bellevue. they are a bike/atv shop. they offer ground school and track days at PIR.

Cool beans. I'll read up.

I guess if this is my intro to the area....

I'm somewhere in my mid 20's. Work in IT. Love bikes, photography, and sandwiches. I've owned my Audi S4 for about 5 years and still very much enjoy it. I'll probably unload it when I get settled in Seattle, though... time to move on. Probably will be sniffing out deals on a `02-'04 911 4S.

I work in IT, so I don't like talking about computers outside work.

I have a sportbike, so I don't like tooling around town with it.

I have a pretty quick car, but I don't like straight line racing(ever).

I'm single and looking for a girl that can... eh, nevermind.

Tracks:

Pacific Raceways
Portland international
Oregon Raceway Park
Bremerton Raceway
Mission Raceway (Canada)
Spokane Raceway

I'm a track rat (cars on road course). Portland has new pavement. Oregon is a brand new track.

The website above should be helpful.

PM if you want to talk further.

Trevor

Welcome,
An RC-51? Very sweet scooter.
Portland and Pacific in Kent would be fun to take your bike on.
Spent way too much $$ and time tracking a Freddie Spencer 750F Replica in the early 80's.
