Gallardo or F430?
i was fortunate enough to be in the pre-race for F1 the last year it was at Indianapolis in my cup car. very intense infront of 60k people with our Cups.
That's pretty amazing. Not many people have taken a lap at Indy
. Sucks the USGP was axed again. I hope Massa can pull off the world championship this year for Ferrari.
back on topic, in the current issue of Automobile Magazine (with the red R8 10 cyl on the cover) there is a comparison of the 430 and the gallardo in every day driving conditions. They compare the convertible versions.
ultimately IIRC they said that the Lambo was much easier to live with on a daily basis
the article sort of sucks but thought the OP might want to check it out.

Thanks! I'll pick up the mag and give it a read.
Yeah the Gallardo doesn't just beat it, it is on a whole level up from the V10 R8. Anytime you can bring a car into the 7's 0-100 its on another level. I mean were talking 6/10ths to 60 over 1 second to 100 mph.
there's a 2005 Turbo S Cabriolet for sale right now at ParkPlace for 89k. It's a 7 1/2 second 100mph car. It will turn on a dime at that speed as well. So he should save the 80k difference between the cars and buy that. I know that car. I bought it new and built it.
Funny. I traded it in 2 years ago for a F430
