Gallardo or F430?

Just thought I would post this for opinions. I just took delivery of my 08 997 TT cab a few months ago but hey I'm a car guy and I'm looking ahead to the next car. I'm a rag top guy and looking at the Gallardo spyder vs the F430 spyder I almost think the Gallardo has better lines for a rag top. I always thought my next car would be a Ferrari but its got me thinking about a Lambo recently. I read on here all the time and I know lots of you own these 2 cars. Whada think?... Pro's/cons of both cars ect....

After driving both back to back I would have to lean to the Ferrari it was just a more refined driving attitude. I did how ever low the torque of the Lamborghini.

Thanks for the feedback. I've read some things that suggest the Lambo can be daily driven and live? I use my turbo as a DD.

I have found that with any exotic the more you drive the better they get. I have been a Ferrari technician and a Lamborghini techincian, and they both can be great cars when properly maintained and properly driven. They have very unique driving styles so I guess that is what it will come down to. Get in and drive them both. I am sure one will suit your driving style perfectly.

The most recent LP 560-4 numbers put it on a different plane as far as performance goes.

I test drove both and without a doubt the Ferrari wins. Just depends on your priorities. Do you want a driver's car or a boulevard cruiser? The Ferrari is a driver's car and the Gallardo is more of a boulevard cruiser mainly because it doesn't given much road feel and is somewhat of a pig around corners. The torque like one other said, is what makes the Gallardo unique. Personally, I'd go with the Ferrari hands down.

Was it a Gallardo or an LP560-4?

There's not much difference in the handling dept between the Gallardo and LP560. My advice is to drive both if you can and then decide from there. You're not going to get much help from listening to any of us here honestly because everyone's opinions will vary.

Agreed, some people will think of a Scuderia as having a GT car ride and another will think its more extreme than an F1 car

I love the F430 but I think if I was going to get either for a daily driver it would have to be the Gallardo...Audi build quality and AWD. If I was going to buy for a weekend ride it would be an F430.

Consider the Audi R8 instead. It drives MASSIVELY better than the Gallardo. I was shocked at that.

Audi build quality Tell that to all the Lambo drivers that have been stranded on drives. They aren't even close to as reliable.
