Gumball 2009

I need a little help, I am looking for ideas on who might sponsor a car in this years Gumball. I have a major sponsor to take care or a good chunk of the fees but I am looking for a few more to fill out the bill.. Any ideas??

Good luck...Subscribed to this thread. I haven't seen any stories from the inside as far as getting sponsored and getting in to the event is concerned. This will be interesting!

Getting into the event is as easy as having the cash to throw down. Relying on sponsorship isn't going to get you anywhere. Not only does Gumball frown upon outside sponsors but the people/companies who are likely to sponsor a car are driving themselves or already have other drivers.

Sorry to rain on parades.

PM me if you have any more valid and specific questions.

But for some people...getting that cash...and having that car is the hardest part

I'd say look for something/someone that needs the advertisement. Shouldn't be too hard in an economy like this. Just make sure you drive like a maniac so that your car's on video as much as possible heh. (but drive safe please)

Wish I would have seen that edit before I posted...I guess them frowning upon outside sponsors makes a lot of sense.

Maybe sell a kidney??

Talked with Gumball again this evening, I am welcome to have 2 secondary sponsors as long as they do not mess with the sponsors Gumball has set up. Only 24K to go then Im headed to LA and 2 of the 5 days me and the copilot are wearing gear from 1 sponsor! Any more ideas???
