Hey everyone. I have a friend that just recently purchased an SL65 AMG and wants to do an ECM upgrade to not only get more performance but to also remove the speed limiter. I have been doing some reading online and found a few names like Renntech, Brabus, Kleemann, etc. He is not the most computer savvy so i told him I would do some looking for him. Just wondering if anyone on here has any first hand experience that they could share so we can get the right stuff. Thanks in advance!

Get on w w w. mbworld. org and post this same question in the E55 or SL65 section. you'll get a nice response.

 

Go to Phil Smart, talk to Lisa. Jessie will pull your ECM, ship it to Kleemann, then reinstall. Everything will be covered under warranty. Pretty easy.
