Cheap racing seat.

Anyone have any old seats they want to get rid of? This won't be going in a car so it does not have to be the greatest. I'm looking to build a seat for my xbox and forza3. I'll likely be building the frame as well.

Maybe - let me check with my teammates. We upgraded the seat on our LeMons car so we have a plastic POS seat currently going unused.

Which one? The classic or evolution? The classic is the cheapest I see at $150, but some of the reviews say it's pretty flimsy with the frame.
The Evolution looks more stable, but is also $270. If I can find a seat, I've got a friend with a welder that will help me weld a frame together.....Figure about half the price depending on the seat I find.

I've got the classic..it doesn't feel "flimsy" at all. I've used it for a while and have no complaints.

HMMM. OK. If I can't find the parts for considerably less, then I'll look into that.....

The team has responded - one of the guys was going to use it for the same purpose you had in mind but that project is on the back burner.

If we sell it we get to deduct the cost from our car which in turn allows us some extra $$$ for mods.

How's $20?

It's in great shape but just isn't all that fancy so if you're after a very "racy" looking rig this probably isn't the way to go.

Sounds great. How do I go about picking it up?
