My Mini Cooper S

Hey Guy's,
So most saw on Facebook that my Civic was totaled in a wreck last week. So now I need a new daily driver. I'm looking at a couple minis later this week and will be ready to buy by Friday I'm hoping.

Thanks,
James

More than what you're looking to pay, but I may be selling my 08 Mini S Coupe. 6 speed. 25000 miles, Astro Black (which is essentially a really dark metallic blue). Bone stock except for a V1 hardwire and a Craven SSK. Let me know if your budget goes up.

James,

Here is a blue 2005 JCW that might fit your specs. It has been for sale since early March, so they may be willing to deal.

They certainly are in comparison to many other rides. I have done a bunch of mods to mine, so if you need any help or advice I would be happy to help. Looking forward to hopefully seeing it this Saturday.

You will love the Mini S. We have a '10 that I bought for Michele except I am always driving it. I pretty much have taken it over. It way too much fun on the street. The Mini will hang with anything if you through some turns into the route. I would track it before my Maser. If I had any idea of the performance I woudl have owned one years ago. Problem is I drive the S out of it. You just can not help it. I can't believe I have not gotten a ticket in it yet. I have embarressed cars that thought they were vastly superior. The light weight makes them so tossable and you can switch lines in the middle of the corner and it just loves it. Torque steer is a bit excessive but you have to deal with that on a FWD with over 150 HP. I have already been thinking of trading for a JCW. Want to add heated seats and Xenon plus a few more ponies. Need to drive one to see how stiff it is first as the current S is ok with our lovely roads.

Put an intake, & turbo back exhaust, & you will be BLOWN away from all the new found HP!

Heated seats are the only option ours doesn't have, & they would be nice. Does your have the LSD?

Yup, Minis are great! We had to order ours since we wanted very specific options like LSD, no sports package and no sunroof.

What intake/exhaust do you recommend? How much louder does it get with an exhaust? I ask because this is Heidi's baby.

It depends on what exhaust you have, ours is the 3in Alta turbo back, it's on the louder side of things, but not as loud as my C4S. We did, intake, piping, intercooler, sound generator delete, intake muffler delete, of course the turbo back exhaust. I'd say it's in the 230-240hp range.

With it all, we picked up a few MPG, & the car flies! It breaks the tires loose through 2nd, & can chirp 3rd. We still want to get it tuned, but it's not a priority right now.
