Seattle Dealer recommendation

I need to get the airbag/ kid seat programming done in my 996 and also a spare key programmed.

My local dealer wants $300 for 15 minutes of magic with their computer!

Does anyone have a dealer hook up in the Seattle area that can porgram this stuff?

Thanks,

Jason.

I had the same thing done to my wifes Boxster S....took the car to Monty at Redmond European......he'll work for cash. I would estimate it being 1/3 of what you were quoted...at the most!

Jason, most major indy shops have the Porsche computer and will reset most everything. I didn't know that Monty could do keys. I thought that was dealer specific. You can check with Akers in Seattle if closer to you. If Bellevue, Chris's German or Squire's

i think you need the dealer for they keys (?)

i've had great experiences with barrier in bellevue and i'm aware of the alternatives.

i'd call and ask for gary or andrew and see what they have to say...

Barrier has *cut* keys for me for free. I don't know what they would charge for those newfangled keys of yours, though.
