Anybody else doing Winter Skills Jan 8?

I signed up a couple of days ago for the Winter Skills clinic. Haven't heard back if there is room or not. Anyone else going?

I got the email.. Been tempted myself to go. Looking at your sig, what car you bringing? I was consider the 996TT... Could be lots of fun.

Now that the Hawks are playing the Saints.. Kinda screws up the idea of going.. Decisions...

^^ You just had a conversation with yourself on those 3 posts... haha.

Yah, I'll be watching the game. I'd love to attend.. but we got a Cinderella story on our hands. Just imagine the Saints going down. No one thinks it will happen... BUT as they say, you never know........... BooYahh!!

I'd love to be optimistic with ya but I'm a season-ticket holder and every time I go to a game we lose...just like my Wolverines. Nobody I love, loves me back.

I've done the winter skills before and I really enjoyed the experience. I definately recommend it! The PCA has some great instructors! Autocross will be starting back up in February as well!

There was a reporter from N.O. that was saying that the Saints are banged up and not as healthy as they were during their run to the super bowl last year. That and it looks like their top running back is out for the game. Who knows, we could pull it off if we have a good game....

They are hurtin for sure.. both RBs are out. I think Bush is the main back now.. can't recall. They also lost their WRs. But they beat us a month ago with an injury depleted team. So it still looks ugly.... but yah never know..

Had an awesome time at the Winter Driving Skills event. They really put on a well-organized and fun event. I have to tell you that I'm very impressed with my car now. I knew it was fast in a straight line but until this event I had never really pushed it in the corners. It is one of those special cars that makes a novice driver look good. The AWD in this thing just pulls you out of corners and the stability control system is so good at keeping you out of trouble. So much so that I had to really try hard to get it to spin on the wet skid pad exercise. Once I turned off the stability control it went sideways (and sometimes backwards) very easily. The one thing I didn't like was the understeer. Seems pretty pronounced...which is safe, but not as fun.

I was getting a headache near the end so I skipped out on the final auto-x part but I was able to make it back home for the last 10 minutes of the Hawks game! Soon enough to see the last 65-yard rush TD! What a great game!
