Rollbar by Motoring Unlimited in Cayman S

I recently had a rollbar custom made by Justin at Motoring Unlimited ( ExperienceMU ) in Issaquah, WA. It's all one piece and powdercoated the same silver as the other interior parts. It bolts in at the factory hard points where the Boxster bar goes, and at the shock towers. The carpet and tower covers were cut to allow this, so it's pretty permanent. If I take it out, I'd be replacing those parts.

The uprights are straight. There is a bit of fisheye on the photo.

He made the crossbars at the same angle as edge of mirror.

The GT3 seats have sub bars but I still need to get crotch belts. Can't wait to get it on the track!

All photos by Jason Tang

Nice rollbar! How much weight did it add?

The car netted out at 1lb lighter. The factory seats are heavy. I don't know what the bar itself weighs.
