Photoshoot: Skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb

As you guys know, I've been doing a LOT of skiing this winter. Heliskiing, Aspen, Europe coming up, Whistler/Blackcomb, etc.

I wanted to share some recent photos from Whistler/Blackcomb last weekend

What it looks like going on the highest Peak2Peak gondola in the world connecting Whistler to Blackcomb

Panoramic image looking from the top of 7th Heaven (sorry it's so big)

Coulier's Bowl, we just skied that!

Blackcomb coming down Spanky's Ladder

Me and my friend had a most excellent meal for dinner at Araxi at Whistler, BC. We started off with a couple glasses of wine. Moscati d'asti for me and Bordeaux for her.

Appetizers: Seared foie gras

Salad: Romaine Lettuce, creamy parmagianno-reggiano vinaigrette with white anchovies local quail egg and cheese tuile

For her: Wild Cultivated Mushroom Risotto with truffle infused nage, pecorino tartufo and roasted Agassiz hazelnuts

For me: Prime Ribeye with baked semolina, button and king oyster mushrooms and sauce au poivre

For us both: Some amazingly good sauteed spinach

Desserts for us both: Mini lemon pound cake

This place had an impressive collection of wine

Fantastic pics! (as always). I'm heading up on the 17th for a long weekend. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to ski this year, so I hope the treadmill is sufficient.

Amazing pictures man! Brings back some awesome memories. I LOVE Whistler/Blackcomb!!

Last time I was there I broke my rear binding on my third turn down Spanky's Ladder. Not the best place at all for equipment failure. The rest of that run sucked!! LOL...

Lacey isn't my girlfriend. She's my favorite female ski partner though.

Nice pixs!

Looks like more snow compared to when we were up there during the President's day holiday weekend, had a great fondue dinner @ Fairmont's Chalet, highly recommend!

Awesome pics! Looks like a great time. I haven't been to the slopes in 3 years...which perfectly coincides with the birth of our first child. Then we had another... I've only went golfing once in two years!

If you're looking for an awesome time up there in the spring, check out the Telus World Ski And Snowboard Festival in April.

It's an AWESOME time. I was there at least four years in a row and each year I had a better and better time!
