Tinted!

Had my car tinted at Metropolitan Detail today using the Diamond Cut IR film from Premier. Did 63% on the sides and back. Will replace the windshield and then do 73% with windshield protection film.

Can post pictures of your tint?

Did they remove the door panels to get down low or was that necessary.

Thanks.

I don't have any pictures of the tint, but can explain the installation a little for you. Porsche windows jog when you open the door and close it, but we have tools that are able to get the film down past the second seal inside, thus not requiring removing door panels.

Here's a pic of the tint after it had been cured for a full week. Very subtle and classy shade and not over the top.

Waiting for the guys from Met Detail to come back to finish off the front windshield after replacing it.

Looks fantastic, Thanks for posting.

Did you say you are tinting the windshield or just applying protective film?

Illegal to tint front windshield at any shade, clear IR film is ok

35% is the legal limit for the rest of the windows.
