Ordered 4S

Placed an order for a Panamera 4s. March production and heres fingers crossed for a June delivery. Why you ask? So I can enjoy my 911 TT for as long as possible before I have to get rid of it as the Panamera comes in.

Wifey and I are pregnant and found out recently that we're going to have non-identical twins. That completely changed everything. I was hoping to keep the 911 TT as a daily car and just manage with 1 kid (and perhaps a maid lol) but thats completely out of the question.

This is what is standard:

Standard Specification for 2010 Model Year Panamera 4S Models
Panamera 4S
4.8 V8 / 400 Bhp / 4.8 Sec / 282 km/h
Sport Chrono Package Plus

19” Panamera Design Wheel Porsche
Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Servotronic Steering
Adaptive Lighting System
Adaptive Air Suspension
Metallic Paint + Partial Leather
Interior
Park Assist Front and Rear, incl. Top-View
Porsche Entry & Drive (Keyless Entry)
Automatic Dimming Interior & Exterior Mirrors
Powerlift Tailgate
Electric Slide/Tilt Glass Sunroof
Porsche Communication Management (PCM)
Telephone Module incl. Bluetooth handset
BOSE Surround Sound

Universal Audio Interface + Six Disc CD Changer

Seat Ventilation (Front) 4 Zone Air Conditioning
Multi Function Steering Wheel
Leather
8 Way Electric Seats
Sunblinds (Rear Side Windows)
Sound Proofing + Heat Resistant Glass
Sunblind Behind Rear Compartment
Side airbags rear

Does any one have more info on the rear interior lighting package ?

Also, any got a link to download the manual?

Dan, yes I read that in the configurator. I wanted additional info to it.

Cpa4s, well & we'll keep the messy things to a minimum. Plus we're hiring a full time nanny (live in).

Schwabe, I did order the blue mats and the trunk mat that's also reversable. Good suggestion. Thanks.

Anyone got a link to the electronic manual?

Thats just great. I was trying not to sound all "1950s husband" and purposely stated it as "we are pregnant/expecting" and then it gets used against me.

Rear lighting package

I pulled that out of the NA Order Guide that my dealer e-mailed me. Its the most I have seen in wrting on the rear lighting package. I ordered it as the additional lighting sounds like a good thing. Lighting in all the storage compartments, addtional footwell lighting, rear reading lamps, etc. Hoping someone ordered this and takes delivery before me, else I will update when my car comes (late March). Dealer was very high on this option.

Understanding that you will be using the rear seating for precious cargo, I would reccomend this option to aid in locating lost items, changing, feeding, etc.

Ok we'll patcy together what we know:

1- adds 2 lights to each of the rear passenger overhead consoles (1 is led & the other is regular). The oem has 1 non-LED lamp.
2- adds lighting to all storage compartments
3- adds lighting to the rear footwell
4- adds a center overhead lighting console ( need more info on this )
5- main overhead (front) lighting console is white as opposed to an amber color & output can be adjusted (also needs confirmation).

My order is already in ( see above as I have updated it to it. Its the full list)

Looks great. I was pretty close to ordering mine in espresso & walnut. Lovely combination.
I'm glad you went with PDCC too. I have unfortunately not been able to try it on the demo vehicles I tested. But the handling on its bare status was excellent, so it can only be better with PDCC.

You can clearly see the PDCC in action on some of the videos on you tube.

Watch the slalom section of this video at 40 seconds. You can see how much flatter the panamera is as compared to the e63.
