iPod & battery drain

Will leaving my iPod connected (via s-video like connector & USB) in compartment drain the battery after switching the engine off?

It will be a hassle to turn it on/off everytime I get in/out of the car.

I keep mine connected 100% of the time, and it never causes any issues with battery drain. Of course, I drive my car everyday, so I shouldn't see an issue.

The only time I remove the iPod is to sync new music to it.

I've left my iPod connected for several months now, and I don't drive the car every day. Never had an issue! Enjoy!
