I want to get this done to my PTT as well but I can't find a good shop in Chicago area who does it. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I just went thru a local Porsche dealership and they are bringing somebody in to have it done. I don't think is very common to have the entire vehicle wrapped in my area. I'll post pics when I get it back. I'm thinking it will be ready Friday since they started wrapping it today. I told them to take their time because if it isn't perfect they will keep it until it is.

I think its around $4k to $4.5k. I'm not sure exactly because I'm getting a new bumper but I will post the exact cost when I get the invoice.

It took 5 days to wrap my entire C4S. If interested PM me I can share the price and I can post pics if you want to see them. It is labor intensive as every edge of film is wrapped/tucked underneath the body panel.

Not changing the color. Just getting a clear wrap. The winters are so brutal with the snow and salt on the roads. This is my DD and my paint was taking a beating.

Thanks! I thought 2-3 days seemed kinda quick. I'm going to go over it with a fine tooth comb so it better be right!

UPDATE* I went to the dealership to pick up my car. I walk in and tell the guy sitting in the service area my name. He pulls out some paperwork for me to sign and then proceeds to ask me for payment. My reply: "let me see the car 1st". New Rest of the World bumper not attached because it was just painted and needs 3 weeks to cure, OK fine. Bring it back and we will mount and wrap it. Immediately upon seeing it I can tell that the "PORSCHE" emblem is still attached after I asked to have it removed. The "PANAMERA TURBO" emblem is gone as I requested. I'm kind of ticked but not really. I then notice that the roof of the car is NOT wrapped, WTF!!! Then I notice that 98% of the hood is wrapped right up to the corners, double WTF!!! On top of that air bubbles EVERYWHERE!!!

Immediately, this sales guy goes into backpedal mode: "We had an outside vendor wrap it" My response: "Stop talking, don't say another word".

Then he proceeds to tell me to take my car and bring it back Monday. No, I'll just keep your loaner as motivation for you to correct this BS!!!

I would demand they remove it...and take your car and go somewhere else.

It is unacceptable. Such a nice car was subjected to such a poor quality install. Wow. Please examine the paint very carefully for any razor cuts. In addition to my C4S, my Cayenne too had the paint protection film. Seamless install. Good for you for doing what you did. I hope they don't mess up your paint when the remove the film.
