Goodbye Panamera, hello...........

Boxster Spyder!

Well, I traded in my Panamera 4S. It was a great sedan! IMHO, this car needs PDCC. Otherwise you do some spirited driving and the body roll is too much for my tastes. Otherwise I can't complain! Loved the electronics and the ****pit feel!

Not many problems. Only put 5800 miles on the car. Needed to have the glove box latch replaced, but that never happened. The plastic cover of the handle kept popping off in my hand. They had to order one from Germany. That was 5 1/2 months ago. No word from the dealership. Par for the course with Porsche service!

I don't commute, so when I drive I need it to be fun and the Panamera wasn't doing it for me, so I did a 180 and bought a Boxster Spyder. Sport exhaust on this car is incredible! It is a blast to drive, even more fun than my 06 C4S! I will see how the new 991 turns out and then maybe another change!

I have a roof rack for the Pana if someone needs one. check for sale board.

It is certainly nice to be back in a Manual car!!!

You can find some pics under the new Forum I will now lurk;-)

Here is an exclusive pic!

I have never cared for design of the Boxster, but this part really helped me get over the "Hump" so to speak!!! Love my "Tent" rooftoop Actually, much quieter than I thought it would be. Drive one if you get the chance, just pure fun! The sports exhaust is the best! Maybe that is why it went from $2500 in 2011, to over 2800 for an 2012???

How can you trade a Pan for a Boxter?

Price wise you must have gotten the Boxter for free.

Secondly, it would be hard for me to trade the higher end car for the entry level car.

My approach to buying experiences with Porsche is just get it done quick! Surprised that this is the second dealership in the area that handed over the new purchase with the Gas tank almost empty

Why not a C4S Cab instead of the Boxster? Although I saw one at my dealer, the Boxster spyder, and it looked damn good.

I'll one up you. Picked up a Cayenne for the wife and she didn't even make it out of the dealership lot when it ran out of gas! I now gas prices are going up but c'mon on Porsche I've given you almost $300k in six months, can I get a full tank?

+1, on the "get it done quick" give them to much time and they will figure out a way to **** you off!!!
