XM Service

Anyone know how long the prepaid XM service period is on a new Panamera. Just got a new P4S and was going to call XM, but figure I have at least 3 months. Someone told me Porsche pays for two year service. Can call the dealer Monday, but curious if someone has the answer on here.

Thanks.

Make sure you let your XM service expire before you renew it. If it expires they will send you some great promotions to re-activate your service. I got 6 months for $20 including traffic.

Traffic is extra BUT if you let it expire they will offer you all-inclusive deals. I always do the 3 or 6mos option because the price will always go lower. Watch the billing tho because they will try and double dip.

I am on the XM trial, however as a previous Sirius subscriber, I missed some of the Sirius stations, like Howard Stern.. I called and they transferred me to a customer service rep, who threw in the "Best of Sirius" as part of my free three month trial.

Sirius/XM is unrelenting in the efforts to retain customers.. I cancelled my prior Sirius subscription when I sold my last car, but that has not stopped them from calling and emailing me several times to ask if I would renew on that subscription...

Make them work to keep you. They will call towards the end of the trial (and send you a bill for a full price plan); tell them what you are willing to pay, that will be your new plan. After the second "trial" ran out, the bill was the same rate for a year; might keep it...

I'm listening to Sirius right now, and it must be the clear blue sky and sunny weather that is making it cut in and out. What a joke!

I always call and ask directly for cancelation Dept. They always give me 1/2 price rather than let me cancle. Been doing it for 5 years now. Never have I paid full price. Same with my wifes Mercedes GL350. Just caus eyou have money doesn't mean you should give it away.
