Carrara White w/ Turbo II wheels. Love it. HOWEVER, think I might have an issue. The car only has 300 miles and I have only been driving it for a couple days, but the shifting seems odd. Especially in reverse, the car almost lurges into gear...sort of reminds you of when a linkage is slipping. I don't really get a smooth start in Drive out of second gear. Not as bad as reverse, but again, it just doesn't sync up in 2nd very smoothly. From there, all is fine shifting up and down through the gears.
So, is this normal or do I have an issue?

I think this may be a characteristic of the PDK transmission that you are noticing at low speed and in reverse... In reverse it needs a bit of push to get things rolling.. You also have a hill holder, which can hold or lock reverse roll on any type of slope, until you give it some more throttle.

I notice this less when I am in sport mode... I think it makes the throttle more sensitive and offers more immediate response.. Curious if anybody else notices this?

 

It is normal! Mine has the same issue. But after awhile i get use to it....not a big problem IMO

 

Yea....PDK transmission isn't very smooth from a stop. In sport mode its def NOT smooth when shifting manually
