Trade my A6 for a Panamera 4
Im thinking of trading my Quattro A6 premium supercharged for the Panamera 4.
Reviews i've seen rank them pretty equally except for the "badge" of course.
Anyone got an opinion?
Thanks

The Panamera is a bit lighter and a bit more efficient.
The steering and chassis should be bit better dynamically and it is a Porsche, so it´s a little bit more prestigeous too.
The A6 is slightly better in acceleration and its interior is said to be the benchmark, but the Pana´s interior is great as well.
The Audi is significantly cheaper, the maintenance costs are cheaper as well. Well that´s a tough decision as u said.
here are some facts (in german tho):

lighter car will always handle better esp with POrsche chassis
look at the weight difference.
Power is meaningless you guys focus too much on it; plus the A6 is forced induction, the Panamera is naturally aspirated --- again, more pleasurable tod rive.
Turbos are a pain to drive, very unnatural power delivery
You are comparing an Audi A6 to a Panamera!?
they are definitely of different leagues even though it is just the V6 Panamera. I think the price difference in the two cars not only reflects the prestige of the Porsche brand but also a lot in the quality/build/luxury/performance/handling of the car. How many car manufacturer do you know of can make 300hp out of a NA V6? Not to mention the handling of these magnificent "Coupes" is second to none. Even the new A7 is no comparison to it. For the money you can pretty much get a S6 with a V10 with a lot of power but it will NEVER be a Porsche. At the end it simply comes down to how much money you want to spend on the car, but the Panamera is worth every penny of it.

but on streets and on highways it isn´t such a huge factor, cause the Audi slightly outperforms the pana on straights.
as far as luxury and quality is concerned i would be careful to write Audis off as well.
overall a close race with the Pana having a real advantange in prestige and handling, that´s why it costs 25% more.
