Good Porsche dealer experience
Good Porsche dealer experience
I've read a few nightmare experiences with dealers, and I've had a few myself. I thought this positive one was good enough to post.
Just brought my GTS in for the SECOND time with a punctured left rear tire. As With the first time, the puncture was too close to the sidewall to be repaired, so with 9,000 miles on the car, I'm looking at my second tire replacement. Then I get a call from the dealer telling me that Pirelli isn't making that tire again until August, and there are no tires available in stock. So they tell me that they'll replace all four tires for the price of the one tire, and they'll be Michelin Pilot Sports! That's a great dealer.

Good stuff!
Porsche have been doing that for the past 5+ years. It's not the consumer's fault when Porsche "N" rated tires are discontinue.
I remembered approx. 2 years ago when I was working for Rusnak Porsche, Pasadena that I did the same for 2008 Porsche Boxster because the customer got a nail in one of his tires but the tires were discontinue. Customer pays for one tire and Porsche goodwill the other three, including mount and balance fees.
Also keep in mind that dealerships have the power to give loyal/good customers up to $350 goodwill gesture to each others if needed and you could spend it in detailing the car, buying accessories at the parts department or use it towards services/maintenance/repairs.
The dealer can even buy a umbrella when the raining season comes
Porsche believe in loyalty customers and in return, good customer service.

This is a terrific dealer. Special invitation events once a month or so, pickup and drop off service, and if you maintain the car with them, a lifetime guarantee on the engine. My friend just had his Boxter engine replaced by them after 6 years at no cost to him.
i do and they are Awesome!

Yes, Porsche Service is pretty good. When my brand new Panny's transmission broke down after 15 miles on the road (Yes, 15 miles), they took care of me. But I could not say the same thing for the Sales department. I called my Sales person and the Sales Manager of the dealership to address the issue; they didn't even return my call. I guess they don't value the customer once the car leaves the dealership.

Don't really want to name and trash the dealership since the service department is very good to me. They are the #1 Porsche dealer (by volume) in SoCal.
