I am placing a stocking order on more RennTech lowering modules and tablets... they work on:

Panamera S Hybrid
Panamera GTS
Panamera Turbo
Panamera Turbo S
they retail for $1495.00 and the tablets retail for $350.00 there isnt a huge amount of margin in these but i am offering a little discount and free shipping if you order before i put my stocking order in!
PM me for discount..

I mean, it's a clever bit of reverse engineering but am I the only one who thinks that $1495 is a ridiculous price?

Think about it. $1500 to lower your car without ever touching the suspension. A decent set of coilovers already cost that much these days and have nowhere near the versatility of these modules. I had it on my Sclass before and it was awesome. Ride remains stock, you get the lowered look and your hands remain clean. No more wrenching and getting sweaty just to lower your car.
Sorry if you think I'm being disingenuous but I'm just wondering what the bill of materials is for the device, $150, $200? Pretty amazing profit margin.

unfortunately not.
i agree!
you would need two, they do remain in the car after the programming.
This unit will keep lowering until the car makes it stop... so its limited by the car.
i dont make the price, i just sell them because they are the best ones out there with a great brand behind them.
couldnt that be said about anything? Pizza for example... flour, water, tomatoes, cheese... the cost of the raw goods is what? two dollars? then to sell a pizza for 7 times the cost of the raw materials, OR MORE!!! what do you think it REALLY costs the factory to make your PTT in the first place? they are surely making money or they wouldn't be doing it... I agree to an extent but that's the way it is... especially with exotics/ luxury cars. If you wanted to reverse engineer one and release it for the cost of materials i bet you would sell quite a bit of them!

So your selling a product and asking me to spend $1500 for "it should lower it but I don't know how much". Not sure I'm interested in that. Do you have a number on that one. For example on all panameras with the sport air suspension it will lower 1.5 inches. Or .5 inches. Etc.
Thanks.

How much does the material cost to press a dvd disc with software on it? But the softwares we install on our PC these days generally cost more than the PC itself! Let alone the softwares used in business, like SAP? Meaning? We are paying for the R&D done by the people behind the scene, people like u and me who may also have to provide shelter and to put food on the table for their family, please don't forget our own kind.
BTW David, I am REALLY enjoying the intake system from FabSpeed, and last night it was raining cats and dogs for the first time on my part of the world since the intake system was installed, I told you I was worried about the possibility of drawing up water into the engine since I removed the "cover" on the sides of the front bumper in front of the air filter, I'd like to tell you everything was fine and for the least, at 120km/h
Reverse engineering? David, naughty naughty
