I had an engine failure after driving some miles with low oil level warning.. Service guy has told me that it's normal to burn oil faster in first 5K miles but the coomon problem with V6 engines causing engine failure was not related to this . they have replaced many V6 engines from warranty . I've extended my warranty in case the new engine fails as well.. Not sure what to do after warranty is over, I don't want to be stressed when driving my Panemera.

I have 2010 pan 4s, with 37k miles. Dealer added 1Q at 35.5k and today minimum oil level came on. So this is normal?

2013 PGTS - burned through 1Q of oil in first 10,000 miles - completely normal - just top it up in 0.5Q increments - it will improve as the miles go up but high performance engines will always burn oil....

That's what my dealer told me with my '14 PGTS ... top up in 0.5Q increments and that 1Q in the first 10k miles is normal.
