Painted calipers

Painted the calipers on my P4S... They were silver, which I thought looked good, but I think the red looks much better. I used the G2 caliper kit and a high temp clear coat - Prep/painting took me about 12hrs total. As you can see, there's still some tape from the prep.

Looks great and I agree red looks better (even though it is the turbo color so not for all)
I assume you are putting the porsche decal on

I have my calipers powercoated and its only a few hundred dollars an I think is more durable you may want to consider that in the future

Nice job

Looks good...

FWIW, I was told that powder coating retains heat and most factories actually paint calipers rather than powder coating... I don't know if this is fact but a performance car enthusiast told me this when I asked about it a while back...

Very carefully - They're merely high temp vinyl decals... Porsche paints them on and there are stencils you can purchase, but I didn't want to press my luck w/ more masking and painting.

never heard that and all my cars I do including the race cars are powder coated as it is much more durable, but they all have huge brake ducts so.....
