Newbie here with the panny,... want to ask what is that option or MY with the headlight that has 4 leds inside as a DRL?

 

That's not an option, GTS/Turbo exclusive. For MY14 onwards, it is the LED headlight option though the DRL is on the outer ring of the headlight housing.

 

Weird, my 10 turbo have those 4 rings., but I never figure out how to turn them on.

Even in auto at broad daylight? If so, you need to check the ambient light sensor to make sure nothing is blocking it.

 

Yes Even in DAYLIGHT.!! the HID LIGHTS up instead of the 4 rings.

took the car to dealer to service today and the guy is going to program it for me instead of the HID , the 4 lights will light up... (Free of charge..he said)

cos I am doing a 30k $1050 service with him.

 

Not to get off topic, but whats in the $1,050 service?!?

 

wish had those rings on my panny.

 

coolant flush, oil , spark plug, filter, these and that... it gonna be half the price if doing it with an indy, ......

 

picked up the car,., the tech couldn't get the piwis to talk to the module to get it programmed.. So I am still with a headlight that has 4 rings that NEVER come on....

 

You should definitely get the dealer to replace it under warranty. No reason to not have the DRL not working properly.

 

The ring light up only in the day, turns off when the low beam is on. The setting is to turn the DRL on and off in case you does not want it to light up as DRL.
