Problem with My panny

So i was out for à drive with My panny turbo.
I stop at red light and When i press the gas the traction controll light Come on.
The car starts act weird and suddenly the 4wd is out of function (displayed)
And the engifte light comes on.
The car has reduced engine power aswell.

So first the traction light comes then the 4wd light and last the engine.
When i start the car it does not run smooth, the engine is "bumpy" and smoke Only comming from one exhaust.

Anyone know what the problem maight be?
I coulndt barely drive the car up the toe truck

The car has 87.000km (EU) and has Porsche approved warranty.
I bought about à week ago, so its really frustrating.

Any ideas?

Cause i want to know IF the problem is some kind of major engine failure.
Or just a sensor / petrol pump problem...

Does the warranty cover theese kinds of problems?

I can't imagine driving it with the symptoms you describe, and it's under warranty. Get it fixed.

Its allready been towed to a workshop ( not Porsche)

Since an auth. Porsche center is very far from Where i live i want to ask Around and see if the problem is small or if i should have it towed to the Porsche centrum.
So im not drivning it Around with theese problems, it got towed right away.

While it's very difficult to diagnose a mechanical problem remotely, it seems very likely that it's going to be significant money to repair if you don't get it fixed at a dealer. It could be anything from the Engine Control Unit, which is a computer that handles the fine details of ignition and fuel mixture, to a head gasket failure.

"Bumpy" and reduced power says strongly that at least one cylinder is not firing. The cheapest problem would be a single bad spark plug, but I wouldn't bet on it, because I doubt you'd see the rest of the warnings. If you're seeing a lot of white smoke coming out of one exhaust pipe, that's burning oil, which is probably a head gasket.

Head gaskets themselves aren't expensive, but the labor to repair them isn't cheap, because you have to take the engine apart.

i got it diagnosed and it says ignition coil 6,7,8.

How ever Porsche center told me that is not under warranty since it counts as wear damage.

Are they right on that?

Something wrong here. You don't just wear down 3 ignition coil at the same time.

Did Porsche center make this diagnose ?

No. It was another work shop who made the diagnos, he also told me the batteri is probobly bad aswell.

But what i really wonder is, are they right regarding that the warranty doesnt cover ignition coil?

Turboman111 - get it to Porsche Center. When you have the Porsche Approved on the car they will handle everything. They will pick up the car and get it to the shop and they will fix the car. Don't waste time on other work shops. Even IF it is all 3 ignition coils at the same I am quite sure Porsche will cover it.

I got the Porsche Approved on my PGTS - the hole idea is that they will fix everything on the car and I don't have to worry about expensive bills.

Coils aren't exactly a wear item. They do suffer under a variety of circumstances, but they're not supposed to wear out the way spark plugs do - unless the car hasn't been maintained, because operating with worn plugs is hard on coils. Coils are normally covered by extended warranties, I'm surprised to hear Porsche say differently - particularly on a CPO car that's only a week after sale. Part of the CPO process is checking that everything is in good shape.

3 going simultaneously is suspicious. It's possible the diagnosis is wrong, or that something else caused the failure. I'd get the car to someone who understands the Panamera better. Dead coils are consistent with your symptoms, since each dead coil means a cylinder not firing, but I'd still want someone familiar with Porsches to look at it.
