DCSW came through w/ Steering Wheel Upgrade!

I'm making a few changes to the car while the PASM gets fixed. Emailed Don over at Dallas Custom Steering Wheel, who has done a bunch of other steering wheels for me already, and put this thing in motion. Its finally installed. I couldn't be happier.

I just had the standard all black leather steering wheel. I was having the front bumper repainted so I decided to also paint that lame charcoal plastic trim on the steering wheel. It was getting flaky on the 9 & 3 o'clock edges so it was a good time to do that. As you can see its paint-matched to Carbon Grey Metallic.

Taking apart the steering wheel was a REAL pain in the az$ since I've never done it before. Everything fits so solidly that you are afraid of pulling breaking a tab or clip. After some minor stripping of screws and backplates of the paddles its really just adding a little extra english and pulling the trim off.

The pictures with the aqua background are pictures that Don took before he sent it out. Super fast turnaround. He stripped the wheel the day he got it and had it refurbished in 1.5 days. He sent me pics to confirm it was what I wanted it shipped it right away.

My options which make it different from the stock are the following:
Black Leather Top
Perforated Black Leather Sides
Red Leather Bottom
Red Stitching
Red Leather Motorsport Ring
Added Thickness

What's next? Figuring out how to add more red details inside including some red stitched pieces.

*This is not some kind advertisement nor did I even receive a discount for posting this, I'm just a super happy repeat customer.

Thanks. Agreed, the paddles look a little lame but there isn't much to do with them. I wanted to get the Techart Paddles but they are so expensive and are just add-ons. If I were to get them I'd definitely have the stockies paint-matched so they just disappear like Techart has done before. Looks SO clean.

Dallas custom did my steering as well and I added the paddles, I think it was well worth the expense.

Just saw it. Look so clean. Love it. You used DCT Motorsports, I used Dallas Custom... different companies but DCT makes some really nice stuff as well, I like their flat bottoms. I went with Don at DCSW because he's done my R56S, 996TT, W211E55, and a few others. His pricing and turnaround time work perfectly for me.

Thank you. It freshened up the interior a lot. The thickness and look almost make it feel like a different car. The stock wheel isn't bad but love this.

Dallas custom has done wheels for me as well over the years. Both do good work.
