Big mileage= big problems?

Has anyone with over 50,000 miles experienced any major repairs?
997's can be notorious for cylinder scoring or cracks requiring new engines. Any such problems with Panameras?
Mine has 60,000 approaching and will be out of the 6 yr CPO warranty soon...

My 2012 P4S had scored cylinders at 19,500miles. Engine replaced by Porsche.

2010 ptt CPO...

Between 24 and 28000 miles I've had

Fuel pump replacement
Air suspension leak
Exhaust system issue
Horn stick in when you press it
Gas cap broke
PCM needed to be updated because it would randomly reboot

Awesome when it's working, when I get an error message I yearn for my Civic.

On a side note, I've always assumed some of the worst luck you could have is owning past warranty and having to replace the engine.

Anybody know what it'd cost to buy a 2010 ptt replacement engine (from whatever good source) out of pocket???

I know a non-Turbo V8 costs $38,000. Fortunately that was on Porsche.

My 11' 4S was just under 23K for parts and labor. The dealer has a 13.5K refundable core charge for the old engine. That may be why the list price is in the 30k + range.
