Window tinting and MoleSkin installation

I'm thinking of getting my black Panamera GTS' windows tinted, and I had a few questions for the group:

- some tint installers mentioned that I would need to install MoleSkin product at the bottom of the track to avoid any scratches on the inside, while others say that it's not necessary. Would love to hear from people with their experiences and thoughts
- I'm thinking of going 5% in the back windows and 20% in the two front windows
- any other watch outs? Thank you!

mine and my buddies both have heavy scratches on ours... i recommend extra padding on the interior parts.

My tint is scratched also. I would go with the moleskin recommendation.

Moleskin is a MUST on early models! Maybe they fixed the issue on the 2015s. The ones that tell you that you dont need it - dont have experience with these cars. Even my local dealer doesnt want to tint because they know what will happen.

Tinted my windows two weeks ago, drivers side is scratched. Ill post a pic tomorrow

Follow on Pic, it's impossible for me to capture the scratches with my phone camera. They are very fine, two of them one about 6" long and the other 10". They towards the back part of the window about 2" apart. If that helps anyone. Only driver's side so far.
