Why so few with LED headlights?

Hello guys, I am in process of getting 2015 S E hybrid (trading in my 09 R8 V8) and i cannot find almost any with LED PDLS package.
Is there a reason why almost none of the cars has it?
I love the way those headlights look, don't care if they're better or not.
If i'd find my perfect car but without LED headligts is there easy swap option or should i keep looking for one with lights?
thank you for answers!

You should have read the small print :
"If your car did not come with LED headlights, it's not possible to upgrade!"

Indeed. Maybe dont go for a hybrid and find one with LED since it seems like that is a must have option for you.

I'm moving to Europe where gas is $9 per gallon so I would like to have hybrid.
Plus I love new technology and I had regular panny before.

Damn... well understandable. What is gas in Key West now? I paid $2.16 here in SW FL the other day.

Wait until you get the bill for your road tax and insurance. Be sure you are in a seated positions with EMTs standing near by.

LED is nice but Porsche's xenons are fine in all conditions.

My PTT that I had was equipped with LED headlights. Definitely good technology and lit up with a different color. I loved the daytime light ring!
But that said, the Bi-Xenons are good too.

Update

So I just bought 2014 S E hybrid in flawless condition with 10k miles thru my friend on Auction.

MSRP on the vehicle was 129,520 and I'm paying under 60K with all the fees shipping etc so I'm happy about it. Slowly saying bye to my R8, I will miss her but it's time.
Car doesn't have the LED's I wanted but it has lot of other options so I'll accept the trade.
It has premium plus, surround view, 20" turbo wheels, insulated windows lane warning, upgraded interior lighting etc I don't remember all of it.
I'd say it was a good deal. What you guys think?

I'll post pics when I'll receive the car.

good deal indeed

Sounds like you got yourself a very nice Panny, and a good deal

I bought my 2012 Panny Hybrid S last year with 20k miles, $127k sticker for $52k
Loving it every day on the busy south FL roads, the only thing I am not impressed with is the sound system.

Seems like great deals to be had on the pre2014 models! For most, the difference is not super significant, so it is great that people are getting in at attractive price points.

IMHO, even the Burmester system in the Panny leaves a bunch to be desired. These cars really nice an EQ (like the BMW B&O) to allow owners to calibrate to their needs.

IIRC, all 2014+ Pannys have the 4 dot daytime running lights, regardless if you have LED or Xenon. I do think that the LED looks nicer and when I sought out my Panny, it was a must-have option.
