Just wanted to say this thread certainly helped sway me in acquiring the GTS I just picked up Saturday, so thank you. Your car is looking better and better man, keep it up.

Thank you and I'm already loving it, but if I'm being honest I'm just ever so slightly nervous about costly repair bills. Got a 2013 with 47k miles and no warranty, so we'll see how this goes. But ya, I'm pretty happy with my decision.

I wouldn't let that take away from the enjoyment of the car. If you did your homework prior to purchasing (Carfax + obtaining the previous service records) and everything checked out, you should be fine. I myself did not get an extended warranty on my car - I never do, but I also take a great deal of time to find the right car. For future reference, what I also suggest is getting in touch with the local authorized dealer of which the car is located (Porsche *insert location* in this case) and have them do a pre purchase inspection. Will cost roughly 2-$300, but is so worth it when looking at the overall picture. In fact, a buddy of mine is doing this exact same procedure tomorrow on a 2014 e63s.
Lastly, find a local indy shop who you trust with your car - will save u ton$$$

I did a good amount of leg work for this GTS and the place I got it from has a decent reputation, so I feel confident that it's not some pos. However, that doesn't mean something won't break, that's all I was getting at. One of my friends likes Mercedes and he goes to a local "euro specialist" that does good work, for very fair prices when compared to the dealerships. In the meantime I'll definitely enjoy the features, comfort, and overall driving experience, because it's damn good.
looks to me like you have the ideal wheel set up. can you please provide specs - width front/rear, offset front/rear, and tire sizes.
thanks in advance! car looks awesome!

Thanks man! Wheel Specs; Savini BM12 in a satin matte black finish 22x9 +45 Front 22x10.5 +45 Rear
Front Tires; 265/30/22
Rear Tires; 315/25/22

Forgot to mention that I also had him do the 3 piece spoiler and ceramic coat that as well. The paint on that thing is so damn soft that if you breathe on it wrong it'll scratch.
