no front windshield tint?

Appreciate all the responses.
Shopped around and it's basically split between shops that don't install mole skin vs those that do and recommend it for Panameras.
From a cost perspective getting quoted generally $500 (no windshield) Llumar Ceramic w/no mole skin vs $1k (no windshield) 3M Crystalline w/ mole skin.
Do you guys think it's worth the added expense for better film and mole skin?

the tint will scratch if you don't have mole skin installed - how bad varies
Dealer I bought my car from has them tinted as a normal part of the service - scratches on all the windows, most are out of my vision and hardly noticeable, so I won't be bothering to change it out.
