Oil temp gauge on left side dash

Hi all,
I’m a newbie on Panamera so excuse dumb question.
It seems like the engine temp gets to 200 degrees and normalized in about 5 min of driving, but my oil temp gauge stays low and pretty flat/low for up to 10 min before getting toward the middle.
Is this normal?

yep, car has a lot of oil and it takes a lot more heat to get it hot compared to water.-

On cold mornings I have to take the long way to work(bummer LOL) to make sure it gets fully up to temp before I shut it down.
