Panamera Turbo with Magnaflow 10790 X-Pipe installed
#31
i have some clips on my thread of my GTS (N/A) with fabspeed x-pipe and PSE. also, Flo ('proud new owner 13 GTS)has some before and after of his GTS w/PSE and magnaflow x-pipe installed. Definitely a huge difference in price between the two options. The N/A engines are going to naturally be louder than the turbo but it will give you an idea. Not sure that there is a distinguishable difference between Fabspeed and magnaflow but i wouldn't hesitate to spend the money again for the amount of thrill and pure joy i get from the exhaust note. it's aggressive, on and off throttle.
i'll see if i can get those clips copied over here

Thanks ciaka! Definitely deeper/louder tones at idle and low rpm revs like you've mentioned. It seems to lose the growl at higher rpm revs

Yes and thanks for reposting, ciaka - poor form on my part for not checking top of your thread for updates. As Deezflip noted the aggressive sounds are more pronounced w/ the x-pipe. Assuming your car has PSE?

If pse = porsche sport exhaust, then yes.
From exhaust on my other pcar, you want loud, take off secondary cats. Biggest change, but invasive sound in cabin when driving.
Low tones definitely added with xpipe. Even phone mic mot a good representation as it doesnt capture the low tones well.
Even mechanic not uh ced immediately afted first start, but I co uk ldnt since i was in cabin. Noticed once he climed in and I climbed out to listen.

A lot of extra growl comes from cat delete - especially with the exhaust valves open. (if so equipped) I have Akrapovic and the valves open provide straight pipe/partial muffler bypass and a wonderful symphony of German V8 glory.
