I d just touch up paint and take a little polish to the wheel . I ve learned over decades of nice cars that they don t stay perfect unless you keep them garaged and miss out on the joy of driving them.

Spot on...I wasn't even as upset as I thought, but I wondered how I got the nicks on the hood, the wheel was self inflicted.

After you touch up the 2 nicks in your hood (take your time, watch videos, use 2500 wet sand, apply clear coat, etc.) consider wrapping the entire surface w/ PPF. That's what I did since mine gets hammered during the winter in the mountains w/ rocks, sand and debris. It's a great way to protect - I also just applied 3 coats of ceramic and hoping it will help protect it even more. Yeah, self-inflicted damage is always the worst but yours doesn't look too bad at all. Looks like the wheel rash might polish right out.

Great advice! I did the ceramic but need to redo it.

I had a few nicks on the passenger door and the dent on the roof over the weekend while I was driving from bay area to UCLA . I can only touch up the chip on the door but the dent on the roof is impossible to remove. So leave it there, when time comes I have to claim it with my AAA. LOL ...

you wouldn't have a dent on the roof if you'd just stop hitting the panhandlers (tricky I know)

Xpel ppf is the way to go.. but I dont even have it, it's super pricey! Other than that, cermic coating (you can get decent ones you can put on at home and it makes a big difference but you should do several coats, like gtechniq crystal serum light and evo light.

Chips happen though, so touch up pens (applied with a fine paint brush), the clear over top while following the advice above (wet sand etc) then after a few days to have it cure, buff and polish. Then protect 😊 Those chips look repairable! Good luck 😁

Ceramic coating is awesome but will not protect against chips. I would say ceramic coat it, PPF, then ceramic coat the film....turns out great! Gtechniq is what I have on mine.

x100. This is the BEST way to go for the BEST protection.

Definitely not! After all that work you just park it in the garage and under a cover.

Yes! This is the obvious solution. Even looking at a vehicle can diminish the value.
