2016 E-Hybrid: Default Media Source and Map "Confirm" Button
Hello everyone, my first post on this forum and of course I have questions

- Is there a way to set the Aux Bluetooth as the default media source? Currently it always defaults to radio and I have to manually select the Aux BT every time I start the car.
- Can I get rid of the map "Confirm" button, so I don't have to tap it every time I want to see the map? Ideally it would show the map directly, w/o waiting for confirmation.
Thanks, it works. Still need to click something to get the map - never seen this in any other car. Usually you get the disclaimer for a few secs and then it goes away. I wonder who was the idiot that thought it's good user experience to have the driver fumble for a button and click it every time they start the car.
Still defaults to Radio and stays there, I have to scroll through available Sources to select Aux BT.

Try setting your source to Aux and see what happens. I think it will keep it there and not default to radio upon startup. I found the clarity of sound SO much better w/ my hardwired Aux compared to the Aux BT option that I never use BT anymore - the difference is quite noticeable w/ Burmester.

The problem is that the car takes 10 seconds or so to connect to my phone and Aux BT doesn't show as a source until the connection is made. Which means the entertainment system has no Aux BT to default to as soon as the car starts, so it switches to the safest thing, which is the Radio. Is dummer than any car I driven in the last 10 years (including a 2009 Audi A4, ahhem, VW family) that would normally wait for the connection to complete or fail, instead of throwing the towel immediately and picking up the Radio.
Oh well, what wouldn't we put up with just to drive the Stuttgart crest
No voice control here. The car was "only" $112k and this is a Porsche where you have to pay for the oxygen you're breathing in -- if it's available to start with.
Actually, despite having to select Source every time I start the car, Aux BT is still very convenient to me. I'm particular about my music, and my phone is my main player everywhere I go. Having a second device only for the car would complicate things way too much. I'll just have to live with it, damn, my life sucks

As far as quality goes, when I'm doing 80 mph on the I-405, I might as well listen to a cassette player and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Too much noise in the car to be able to discern the fine details, unless I'm blasting it which I usually don't.
Thanks everyone for chipping in!
